Your OCCF is committed to helping make our communities become better places to grow, work, and live. It is our goal to provide donors with an opportunity to give back into the Owen County community in a meaningful way.

Funds that are donated to the Foundation are placed in a fund of the donor's choosing. The types of funds available to donors vary in size and structure, but all produce a similar outcome: the bettering of the community through grants and scholarships.

NEW Process
The OCCF has a passion for organizations doing charitable work within Owen County. The annual grant cycle provides such organizations with an opportunity to apply for grants that help in their mission to make Owen County thrive.

Scholarship opportunities are available each year for graduating high school seniors as well as          post-secondary education students. Your OCCF values education and wants to see Owen County students succeed in school and in life.
Lilly Scholar Update:
We love hearing from our Lilly Endowment Community Scholars as they progress through life. We caught up with 2005 recipient Ryan McKalip and found out a little about what he, his wife Danae, and their daughter Jubilee Dawn McKalip are up to. Ryan just finished his last class for his Master of Divinity and will graduate in December 2013 after finishing final exams. Danae works as a nurse on the Mother/Baby unit at a local hospital. Ryan starts in August in the Chaplain Residency program at the same hospital. Both Danae and Ryan are active in their local church. Jubilee is happy, healthy, and will be crawling very soon.
